The first homework assignment was to go out and take pictures of New York (given that the location is within 6 blocks from the school). Artists are drawn to the city because New York City is a place I was accompanied by my group members, Alice and Vicky. Our aim was to photograph interesting shapes and compositions rather than focusing on the subject of the picture. We spent two hours walking around the area, capturing all the sights that inspired us.
